1st Shift Punch Press Operator
Level One : Working with assistance, level one punch press operators interpret work instructions and routers as well as gather related work docs.
Level one punch press operators perform basic press operations once the job has been setup, including in process inspection, which requires the use of calipers, micrometers, etc.
basic shop math and print reading. Typically, 0-1 years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Upon first article approval, level one punch press operator will continue production.
- Periodically inspect product using standard hand tools to ensure defects are not replicated.
- Utilizes punch presses to manufacture features to print.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and fixtures as required.

Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer use. Applicant should be familiar with Microsoft Office.

Required Experience :
1-year minimum experience in industry or related field.
Level of Education :
High school diploma / GED equivalent required. Shop math and blueprint reading certifications preferred.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.50 to $24 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.
For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
