Job Description

Position : Chinese Senior Patient Registrar

Location : Flushing Queens

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Assignment : 24 weeks (covering FTE LOA)

Job Summary :

Pride Health is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Patient Registrar to manage patient registration, data entry, and insurance verification for a cardiology-focused medical or secretarial setting. The ideal candidate is Chinese speaking required. proficient in EHR systems, has strong clerical and data entry skills, and is knowledgeable about health insurance requirements and medical coding (ICD-9, CPT-4). Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential.

Requirements :

Chinese speaking required.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Some College (Preferred)
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (Strongly Preferred)
• Minimum 3 years clerical experience, preferably 3–5 years in cardiology or medical / secretarial settings (Required)
• Data entry speed of 4,500 keystrokes per hour (Required)
• Knowledge of health insurance benefits / requirements (Preferred)
• Coding knowledge : ICD-9, CPT-4 (Preferred)
• Customer service experience (Preferred)
• Strong telephone, keyboard, and computer skills (Required)
• Effective communication skills (Required)
