This position is based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area.

The SR. Accounts Receivable Specialist is primarily responsible for the immediate resolution of invoice issues and discrepancies, as well as accurate and timely processing of patient refunds, overseeing the Special Financing process, and reconciliation of Credit Card and Financing cash-in. Applying basic accounting principles, the Sr Accounts Receivable Specialist will also assist with month end close responsibilities including the preparation of journal entries and the reconciliation of assigned accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES :

• Resolve customer account and invoice inquiries and / or discrepancies.
• Process patient refunds.
• Oversee the Special Financing process.
• Reconcile credit card and Financing cash-in to cash collected.
• Assist with Finance deliverables related to center openings.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support field leadership by delivering the best financing options to our patients.
• Develop SOPs and establish policies and procedures.
• Enforce policies and procedures in collaboration with field leaders.
• Spearhead process improvements to deliver efficiencies and the best customer experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Associate degree in business / Accounting certificate (college degree preferred) or commensurate field of study.

3-5 years of general accounting experience, with at least 2 years of accounts receivable experience

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Experience with Acumatica, GP Dynamics, MAS 90 or other mid-tier accounting software.

Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills using data filtering, tables, and VLOOKUP.

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with a commitment to meet deadlines.

Ability to work with customers and employees at all levels of the organization promptly and professionally.

Experience with high volume customer transactions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong data entry skills.

High level of proficiency with the MS Office suite.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and multi-task.

Takes pride in quality and quantity of work produced.

Recognizes urgency in solving problems and completing critical work.

Open to change and willing to learn new skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Work onsite at the Corporate Office in Bellevue, WA for a minimum of 3 days a week. May work in remote office locations on Wednesdays and Fridays.

COMPENSATION :

This is a Non-exempt position with an hourly range of $26.00 - $33.00 / hour, depending on experience.

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future.
