This highly visible position is responsible for the coordination and development of interactions between Peoples Gas and the Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) and other related regulatory groups (within and outside Florida), for monitoring and communicating regulatory developments and for maintaining favorable regulatory relations.

To succeed, you need :

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college / university in accounting, finance, economics, engineering or business major.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 2 years of experience with an associate's degree from an accredited college / university may be considered.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience consists of : general knowledge of industry structure, history, utility finance or accounting practices, ratemaking practices, legal or regulatory processes.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and other PC based software.

Primary duties and responsibilities include :

You will be part of a team that includes inter- and intra-departmental personnel at all levels. Consultants, contractors, customers, FPSC Commissioners and staff, industry associations, vendors, staff of other utilities throughout the country, and trade association staff.

Emergency response requirements : Team members are required to participate in the response / recovery activities related to emergencies / disasters to maintain service to our TECO Energy customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.
