Job descriptionBachelor's degree in safety, environmental science, or related field 3+ years of experience in a safety role, with experience in the construction industry preferred Strong understanding of safety principles and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in developing and implementing safety programs Experience in conducting safety audits and investigations
We are seeking a Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Implement safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safety-related matters
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans
- Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures
- Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations and adapt programs and policies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
