The Outreach and Technical Assistance Unit exists to identify and develop projects that promote circularity, which include increased waste diversion through capacity building as well as expanded access for residents of Colorado. The Unit supports the economic health of the State of Colorado through the creation of job opportunities, encourages practices that protect and improve the environment, grow sustainable business, and lead to healthy communities.
This position manages the Outreach and Technical Assistance Unit by providing supervision and strategic direction to subordinate staff to develop funding proposals for board review and to provide technical assistance to Colorado's local governments, public school districts, and tribes. This position supports the effective implementation of strategic goals and objectives identified by the C3 Board of Directors.

Minimum Qualifications :
Experience Only : Eight (8) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position such as working with complex teams, organizational development, and building consensus among a variety of stakeholders.
OR Education and Experience : A combination of related education and / or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to eight (8) years.
OR A master's degree from an accredited college or university in public health, public administration, business or business administration, finance, procurement, liberal arts, environmental studies or closely-related field and two (2) years of full time professional experience with working with complex teams, organizational development, and building consensus among a variety of stakeholders.

Conditions of Employment : A pre-employment background check, hybrid workplace options available, remote office required, 5% travel required within the State of Colorado, and in-person work at least two (2) days per week at the Glendale address : 4300 S Cherry Creek Dr. Glendale, CO 80246.
Preferred and Essential Competencies : Excellent organizational skills, demonstrated proficiency working collaboratively, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to analyze facts, data and evidence, advanced interpersonal and conflict management skills, proficient in word processing and competency in technology and equipment used in a health care setting, and computer literate.
