Reports to : Accounts Payable Supervisor / Accounting Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Support Specialist to assist the A / P team with invoice processing, vendor management, and administrative support. This role ensures accurate and timely payments, helps maintain vendor relationships, and supports efficient accounts payable operations. The position offers a hybrid schedule combining in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full A / P cycle, including processing, coding, and entering vendor invoices.
• Verify invoice accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and process payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain vendor records, files, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and provide timely resolution of payment issues.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation as requested.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to junior A / P staff as needed.
