Reports to : Accounting Manager / AP Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role will take ownership of complex A / P processes, ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, and support month-end closing activities. The position is hybrid, offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and execute payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update vendor records, including W9s and tax documentation.
• Assist with month-end close, including A / P accruals and reconciliations.
• Support 1099 preparation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and other teams to resolve invoice or payment issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve A / P processes and implement efficiencies.
• Provide guidance to junior A / P staff or temporary employees as needed.
