Reports to : Accounting Manager / Finance Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team. This role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing A / P processes, supporting month-end close, and providing actionable insights to management. The position is hybrid, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, compliance, and timely payment.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of 1099s and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Generate and analyze A / P reports (aging, cash flow, variance, trends) for management review.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and other finance teams to resolve complex issues.
• Provide support for audits by preparing schedules and documentation as required.
• Mentor or guide junior A / P staff on processes and best practices.
