Reports to : Accounting Manager / Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage the full A / P cycle, help maintain accurate vendor records, and ensure timely payments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with a hybrid work schedule (e.g., 2-3 days in-office per week, rest remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices : review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Verify invoice accuracy by matching invoices to purchase orders, contracts, or receipts.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire) to vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files, including W9s, tax information, and payment terms.
• Assist with month-end closing : produce A / P aging reports and other necessary reconciliations.
• Support 1099 preparation (if applicable) and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with other teams (e.g., procurement, operations) to clarify invoice details or discrepancies.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance A / P workflows and controls.
