Job Title : Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Job Summary :
The Senior BI Developer will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, reports, and dashboards using IBM Cognos 10.2.1 and Microsoft Power BI . This role involves transforming data into actionable insights to support key business decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data accuracy and performance across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain Cognos and Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet business requirements.Utilize the Cognos 10.2.1 BI toolset , including Cognos Analytics, Framework Manager, Transformer, SDK, Event Studio, Query / Analysis Studio, and Cognos Administration , to build and manage BI solutions.Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.Work with DB2 databases on Linux platforms to develop, test, and deploy BI solutions.Query and report from clients RTS data for analytics and reporting purposes.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine BI requirements .Participate in Agile development processes using tools such as JIRA and JAMA for task tracking and requirement management.Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to other team members in BI tools and best practices.Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security in BI reporting environments.Minimum Qualifications (Required) :
7 years of experience as a BI Developer .7 years of hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards using Cognos 10.2.1 and Microsoft Power BI .7 years of experience with the Cognos 10.2.1 BI toolset (Cognos Analytics, Framework Manager, Transformer, SDK, Event Studio, Query / Analysis Studio, Cognos Administration).7 years of experience writing complex SQL queries .7 years of experience working in a team environment , with strong communication and mentoring skills.6 years of experience using JIRA and JAMA for project and requirement management.6 years of experience working with DB2 on Linux operating systems .
