About the Role :
- You will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes, managing ingredients, and ensuring exceptional presentation standards.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of traditional and modern sushi techniques, premium ingredients, and a strong sense of kitchen discipline.
What You’ll Do :
Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls with precision and aesthetic appeal Ensure freshness, quality, and proper handling of all seafood and ingredients Maintain a clean and organized sushi station, complying with health and safety regulations Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal specials Maintain inventory and assist with ordering high-grade seafood and sushi products Interact with guests (if applicable) in a professional, informative, and engaging manner Uphold presentation, portion, and consistency standards at all times Ideal Candidate : 3+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a fine-dining or luxury restaurant Deep knowledge of Japanese cuisine, knife techniques, and fish preparation Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and passion for aesthetics and flavor balance Strong communication and teamwork skills Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Powered by JazzHR
