We are seeking a Sales Applications Engineer with a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering background to join our division that works with clients on customized cooling systems for various industrial applications.
In this role, the Applications Engineer will work directly with clients and with sales on RFQ, taking specifications and engineering a cooling system to support the application.
This will require sizing and selecting parts and components, running accurate thermal analysis, working with other departments as needed, and once the solution is developed helping to cost and quote the project.

Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate incoming inquiries and thoroughly assess customer requirements.
- Conduct efficient and accurate thermal analysis and mechanical design execution.
- Interpret and clarify complex thermal and mechanical analyses.
- Review and address both basic and complex customer specifications.
- Formulate technical and commercial proposal packages aligned with customer specifications, industry standards, and company standards.
- Provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization of heat transfer solutions.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to address engineering and design challenges.
- Ensure the integration of safety measures in coordination with customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate legal reviews of contracts with business development managers and legal counsel.
- Ensure detailed review of contract commercial, freight, and payment information to verify all deliverables are achievable.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field & a Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of industry experience, minimum.
- Experience with thermal design, rating, and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with ASME, TEMA, and API standards is ideal.
- Experienced with working directly with customers and sales. (and a genuine enjoyment of those duties.)
