Senior Pipe Support Engineer – Ogden, UT Contract | $75–$90 / hour + per diem & mobilization (if over 50 miles from site) Duration : 1 year US Citizenship required We’re looking for an experienced Senior Pipe Support Engineer to join our team in Ogden, Utah on a one-year contract. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting a major defense infrastructure project. If you have a background in pipe support design, analysis, and coordination within complex engineering environments, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do Design and locate supports for various piping systems, performing related calculations. Work closely with layout and pipe stress engineers to deliver efficient, high-quality designs. Perform structural analysis of pipe supports using GTStrudl in line with DoD UFC, ASME B31.3, and AISC standards. Develop, apply, and document engineered pipe support designs and calculations. Coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and with vendors to ensure consistency and accuracy. Review specifications and design documents prepared by other disciplines. What You’ll Bring Education & Experience Level I : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5–8 years of related experience (or 9–12 years without a degree). Level II : Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of related experience (or 12–14 years without a degree). Skills & Qualifications Strong working knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 standards. Hands-on experience with GTStrudl for pipe support structural analysis. Previous experience on DoD or Risk Category 5 projects. Active or attainable security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). PE license preferred. Prior Bechtel project experience a plus.
