District Shift Leader

Job Overview

Einstein Bros Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to lead daily operations at a home bakery location. The role is an entry point in a targeted General Manager development plan, with the aim of preparing the individual for future General Manager responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Travel to additional bakeries for learning and assistance opportunities.
• Lead by example, serve as a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for team members.
• Ensure high-quality food and beverages for guests while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.
• Participate in the GM development plan covering inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash management, P&L analysis, food cost and labor target achievement, scheduling, and recruiting.
• Shifts begin as early as 3 : 00 am, with a minimum requirement of 30 hours per week; evenings and nights are not scheduled.
