We are seeking a Business / Data Analyst to join our data sourcing and analytics team. In this role, you'll help define and document data requirements, validate and test data, and support a strategic data warehouse environment. You'll work closely with business and technology teams to ensure data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with business partners to review and validate data requirements and specifications

Analyze and compare data across multiple sources to identify issues and ensure data integrity

Use tools like SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

Document processes, testing results, and meeting notes for consistency and transparency

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Map source system attributes to target data models and support transformation logic

Develop insights using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Identify opportunities to enhance data monitoring and overall data quality

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field

5 7+ years' experience as a Business or Data Analyst in Banking or Financial Services

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience with financial products (e.g., Derivatives, Repo, Bonds, Loans, Deposits, GL, Regulatory Reporting)

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS)

Understanding of database design and data warehouse concepts (Snowflake experience a plus)

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello)

Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools
