Full Stack Dotnet Developer (Software Engineer) - U.S. Citizenship Required

Global Recruiters of Richmond (GRN)
Norfolk, VA, United States
Full-time

We are hiring multiple Dot NET Developers (Software Engineers) to work on-site in our Norfolk Virginia location. Should have 5+ years of relevant full stack experience with dot NET, C#, MS SQL, Java Scripts with a demonstrated ability to understand and participate in the full lifecycle of code development with an active teamwork mentality.

For the right level of experience (10+ years) we can also hire as a Senior Developer, but we are focusing more on the 5 7-year role.

Primary responsibilities for the team include upgrading and maintaining current business functionality, participating in code review / triage for business improvements, and maintaining / improving efficiency for our supported business functions.

Most applications have been built internally, with only limited current use of cloud and COTS.

The Software Development Team puts a high priority on teamwork, collaboration, and the willingness to step up and handle multiple facets of the work driven by business needs.

The team actively coordinates with the rest of IT so internal communication and collaboration is key.

Previous experience with multiple business functions is a plus and we encourage cross-training on our teams. We prefer at least 5 years in a similar role to hit the ground running, but flexible based on skills, potentially as little as 2 years of directly relevant experience.

Relocation assistance is available. This position does not support remote work and candidate will work on-site. We do allow some limited work from home flexibility for family or business needs, but highly prefer on-site to collaborate with team.

MUST BE A CURRENT U.S. CITIZEN. Strict Drug screen required. We are a U.S. Defense Contractor and although no active security clearance or military experience is required, we view it as a plus.
