Account Director Role
This posting is for an upcoming NYC based Account Director role on our partnerships team.
The Role and What You'll Do :
- Oversee the day-to-day partnership marketing & activation programming with client's cross-functional teams (partnerships, brands, media, PR, social, etc.) and relevant agency partners in connection with client's music & entertainment partnership marketing platforms
- Develop and implement partnership strategy and activation; evaluate additional sponsorship opportunities and support contract negotiations as appropriate
- Spearhead research and analytics efforts across client deliverables
- Provide strategic thinking and recommendations for client and agency at large
- Liaise with wider global account team providing connectivity across all workstreams
- Lead and mentor direct reports
You Have These :
A minimum of 10 years of agency, brand or client-based partnership account management experiencePrior experience in managing the development and implementation of partnership marketing strategies and activations on behalf of a client or brandPrior experience managing a team / individualsPrior experience managing day-to-day relationships with clients, agencies, and vendorsExperience working within the Music industryPrior experience with sponsorship contract negotiationsTalent contract negotiation experienceUnderstanding of, and practical experience with, event marketing operations and logisticsProven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive resultsStrong ability to manage multiple projects across large cross-functional teams independently and diligently while delivering pre-defined goalsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client / account management experience requiredAbility to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groupsExcellent attention to detail, time management, written and oral communication skillsEnthusiastic and flexible team-first player with a proactive approachAbility to travel a minimum of 25% of the timeProficient in MS Office SuiteRole is based in the NYC (required)This role will report into a VP, based in NYCHow We Work :

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
