Job Title : Operations Manager

Location : Mt. Prospect, IL

Salary : $110,000-$125,000+ Bonus

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our client's organization in the Mt. Prospect, IL area.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including product assembly, shipping, and receiving, to ensure efficient production processes.
• Monitor production schedules and implement strategies to meet targets.
• Manage and allocate resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to maximize productivity and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate inventory control activities, including tracking, replenishment, and stock rotation.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize waste and reduce costs.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.
• Supervise and motivate production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and efficiency; analyze data and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
• Oversee facility maintenance, equipment performance, and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain communication with customer teams regarding job status and changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
