About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to join our team supporting large-scale construction and modernization projects for educational facilities. In this role, you’ll be the go-to scheduling expert, ensuring projects stay on track, milestones are met, and stakeholders remain informed. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and program leadership to develop, analyze, and maintain project schedules from start to finish.

Your work will directly contribute to delivering safe, high-quality educational facilities for our students and communities.

  • Develop & Maintain Schedules: Create and manage detailed program and project schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
  • Analyze & Review Contractor Submittals: Review baseline and updated contractor schedules to ensure scope coverage, logical sequencing, and contractual compliance.
  • Perform QA/QC & Schedule Forensics: Verify schedule accuracy, review critical path, cost/resource loading, logic relationships, and constraints.
  • Time Impact & Delay Analysis: Conduct schedule impact studies for change orders and support negotiation of delay time settlements.
  • On-Site Progress Tracking: Visit construction sites to verify progress, validate contractor updates, and prepare status reports for project leadership.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Serve as a liaison between project teams, department leadership, and the Program & Project Controls department; lead schedule-related discussions in meetings.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain program-level coding standards, prepare schedule performance reports, and update master schedules on a regular basis.

Requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of full-time professional experience in construction scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor (public works or educational facility experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of cost engineering, scheduling best practices, and schedule forensics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in another discipline plus 2 additional years of construction scheduling experience.

Benefits

We offer a competitive benefits package featuring 100% employer-paid health insurance, a 401(k) with profit sharing, and additional paid time off each December.
