Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Scheduler to lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of complex, resource-loaded project schedules. This role requires deep expertise in Primavera P6, Earned Value Management (EVM), and schedule health assessments. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines align with technical, contractual, and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with industry best practices and project requirements.
- Perform advanced schedule analysis including critical path, float, and 'what-if' scenarios, and generate actionable reports.
- Conduct schedule audits and health checks using standards such as the 14-Point Assessment and GAO guidelines.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) for cost, performance, and risk analysis.
- Maintain schedule baselines and integrate project schedules with broader enterprise-level planning.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to gather updates and ensure schedule accuracy.
- Analyze schedule impacts related to DOE / DOD and nuclear industry requirements.
- Contribute to technical proposals, including WBS development, cost / resource projections, and schedule inputs.
- Provide mentorship to junior schedulers and support internal training initiatives.
- Potential to grow into a leadership or management role.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related technical field.15+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or related disciplines.Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and familiarity with Microsoft Project.Strong understanding of EVM principles and schedule risk analysis.Demonstrated experience managing schedules for complex engineering or government projects.Familiarity with DOE / DOD or nuclear fleet environments is highly desirable.Preferred Skills
Experience with schedule integration across multiple projects or programs.Knowledge of project management frameworks and tools.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $66.00 - $84.00 / hr.
