Role : Product Owner (SAFe) - Embedded Software EngineerClient : Defense-AerospaceHourly Rate : up to $54 / hr W2, non-benefited Length : Long-Term Location : Ft. Wayne, INClearance : Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire Description : -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and priorities.-Create and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.-Participate in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, to ensure smooth project execution.-Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the product.-Monitor progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality software.
Required Skills : -2-3 years of experience in a Product Owner role, preferably with embedded software.-Strong understanding of SAFe principles and practices.-Proficiency in C, C++ and C#.-Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).-Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.-Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable tasks.-Proven track record of delivering successful software products. Desired Skills : -Experience with embedded systems and software development.-Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories-SAFe certification or relevant training.-Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.-Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.-Passion for technology and innovation.-Domain experience in RF and GPS and Navigation system development, implementation and integrations efforts.
Required Education and Experience : Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
