- Position Overview
- The Head of Security Engineering and Threat Management reporting into the SVP, Security Operations and Engineering is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic vision for Security Engineering, Network Security, and Threat Management. This position will help foster collaboration and partnerships across Information Security and Technology to enable a best in class capabilities tailored for Wintrust.
- What You’ll Do
- Lead the enterprise Threat Management program by proactively identifying, assessing, and governance over vulnerability remediation across applications, infrastructure, and configurations
- Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise security technologies across endpoints, servers, mobile, and messaging platforms, ensuring resilient, automated and scalable defense capabilities while integrating and maturing core security tools and platforms
- Provide governance and oversight of IT Network protection controls, such segmentation and firewall policy; lead the strategy and implementation of Security controls such as network detection and response (NDR) solutions to ensure secure connectivity and rapid detection of lateral movement or malicious traffic across the enterprise
- Conduct hiring process to recruit qualified candidates and build a team, ensuring effective onboarding
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 7-10 years of experience
- GWEB, GWAPT, and / or GDSA preferred

- The estimated salary range for this role is $141,000.00 - $190,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus.
