Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the ACNO, the Nursing Director is responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating the operations of his / her respective unit(s). Directs the care of the adult critically ill population, as well as the care of the chronically ill elderly patients. Accountability for the standards and scope of nursing practice. The individual manages the flow of patients and information to expedite care, collaborating with the physicians. Demonstrates clinical competency and nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. Contributes to the Ogden Regional Department of Nursing and the nursing profession in a positive manner.

What qualifications you will need :

• Registered Nurse
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years in an acute care nursing experience required
• Previous progressive leadership experience preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• FEMA / NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 within 90 days of date of hire
