Overview
The Nightingale-Bamford School is seeking a Manager of Safety & Security. The Manager of Safety and Security's role will be to establish and lead all activities related to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, employees, visitors, contractors, and all community members through collaboration with local government planners, public safety officials, law enforcement, first responders, municipal and governmental agencies. This position requires a high degree of diplomacy, flexibility, adaptability, and a passionate commitment to the safety of students, colleagues, and visitors in a warm, caring, creative, and effective learning environment. The Manager should be a safety professional, patient, effective, and clear communicator with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
The Manager of Safety and Security will also play a supporting role to the Director of Safety and Security.
The schedule is based on a 40-hour work week. The work hours will be scheduled according to the school\'s needs, with the regular expected schedule of 2 : 00 p.m.– 10 : 00 p.m. on school days. This is an exempt role with an immediate start date. This position reports to the Director of Safety & Security / Director of Operations & Capital Management.

Salary
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Nightingale considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
