Job description

Location : 235 S Grand Ave, Lansing, MI 48933

Duration : 1 year with possible extension

Work Arrangement : Hybrid (in-office 2 days per week; no remote-only option).

Top Skills & Years of Experience Required

  • 3–5+ years of Genesys Administration and IWD support experience
  • 3–5+ years of Java (building / maintaining routing strategies, APIs, and integration components in Genesys environment)
  • 3–5+ years of Oracle Database (SQL queries, stored procedures, configuration / reporting data analysis)

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Design scalable, high-availability, and secure Genesys environments (On-Prem)
  • Expertise in component interactions : Interaction Server, URS, Stat Server, Config Server, Message Server, etc.
  • Environment sizing, network design, and failover strategies

    • Framework & Administration

  • Administration of Config Server, Stat Server, Message Server, T-Server
  • Hands-on experience with Configuration Manager (CME) and Genesys Administrator Extension
  • Managing applications, agents, tenants, and system-level objects
  • Configure IWD positions, workbins, and workload types
  • End-to-end routing for Work, Email, File Server Capture, and API-based interactions
  • SLA-based prioritization, segmentation, and distribution logic
  • Design and implement routing rules using IWD Rules Engine
  • Dynamic rules for prioritization, assignment, and escalation
  • Develop routing strategies using Genesys Composer or Architect
  • Multi-channel workflow design (Email, File Capture, Work Items)
  • Skills-based routing, business rules, and conditional flows

    • Integrations & Interfaces

  • File Server Capture Interface configuration and automation
  • Microsoft Graph API integration for email ingestion with OAuth2
  • Routing logic for inbound email based on headers, subject, or content rules

    • Reporting

  • Configure and customize Genesys Pulse dashboards and real-time KPIs
  • Monitor queue, agent, and system-level metrics
  • Design historical reports using Genesys InfoMart and SAP BusinessObjects
  • Create, schedule, and analyze reports for performance, SLA adherence, and capacity planning

    • Database

  • Strong understanding of Oracle DB tables and schema design
  • Write complex SQL queries for reporting, data extraction, and troubleshooting
  • Integrate Oracle databases with Genesys reporting and routing workflows

    • Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Use Genesys logs, Pulse, ICON, and historical data for root cause analysis
  • System health monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning
