Job Description Supports the Director of Accounting in maintaining accurate financial records, manages investment accounting and reporting, performing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close processes. Reports to : Director of Accounting Key Responsibilities : - Reconcile investment accounts and record gains / losses. - Prepare monthly and quarterly investment performance reports. - Collaborate with advisors on ethical investment strategies. - Support endowment accounting and donor transparency. - Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance. - Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis. - Support month-end and year-end close activities. - Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting. - Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Month-End Duties : - Post investment income, fees, and unrealized gains / losses. - Reconcile investment balances and prepare valuation reports. - Assist in endowment unitization and reporting. - Prepare and post journal entries for routine transactions. - Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts. - Assist in compiling financial data for monthly reporting. - Support the Director of Accounting in closing the books. Annual Salary : $63,410.00
