of Job Duties : The Student Success Program Coordinator at the Walton College of Business plays a crucial role in providing support to ensure the efficient operations for Student Engagement, the Business Communication Lab, Global Engagement, and Student Success initiatives.
This position is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including administrative duties to include financial and budget support, event management, scholarship support, student support, special projects, and office management.
The Program Coordinator will work closely with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with a major in sociology, public administration, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least two years experience in program administration or related area
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with event planning, programming, and logistics
University of Arkansas systems experience (e.g. Workday, Advance)
Higher Education experience
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience in procurement or purchasing type roles
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and external contacts
Knowledge of record keeping procedures
Knowledge of the principles and practices of mathematics and statistics
Knowledge of work-related subject area
Knowledge of computers and software applications
