Tayani Institute is seeking a dynamic, experienced, energetic and knowledgeable full-time Optical Biller with Ophthalmology experience to work in our growing and thriving Ophthalmology / Optometry practice. Our practice provides a broad array of ophthalmology, optometry, optical, and plastic surgery services. We are a high volume, fast paced practice offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Working insurance and patient A / R
• Posting insurance payments
• Daily billing : HMO, Medicare, PPO, vision
• Answer phones, address patient billing questions and resolve
• Follow daily task, and manage time appropriately

Requirements : Requirements :

1.Team player and willing to share all applicable knowledge

2. The ability to work independently, and confident

3. Minimum 3 years experience with Optical billing (required)

4. Knowledge of how PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal & Medicare works

5. Understand medical benefits, and how to verify and calculate benefits

6. Experience with Nextgen software (preferable)

7. Customer service oriented. Comfortable addressing patient concerns regarding their accounts.

(This is not a remote position)

Compensation details : 24-27 Hourly Wage
