The ECS headquarters team provides key support for its electrical and mechanical companies, including finance and accounting, human resources, legal, national purchasing, and information technology.

The Director of IT Operations is responsible for the IT infrastructure and support services provided to ECS and its Operating Companies. This is a hands-on, management, and strategic role in the ECS IT team. Working with various teams, this position will deliver the highest quality IT solutions and support throughout ECS. This position will also manage full-time and consulting resources, as well as help establish the IT strategy for ECS and be a leader within the team. This position is based in McLean, Virginia. However, candidates in other locations and meeting the requirements below may be considered. Compensation Range : $170,000 - $180,000. This position is bonus eligible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following. Other duties will likely be assigned :

• Deliver excellent support to ECS Operating Companies through exceptional customer service.
• Ensure that ECS IT strategies and projects align with the business goals of EMCOR.
• Provide leadership for both ECS IT teams and the IT teams at our 50+ geographically diverse Operating Companies.
• Assist in establishing the IT strategy for ECS in areas like cloud technologies, security, and governance.
• Manage ECS infrastructure, business continuity and disaster recovery, and support functions.
• Lead multiple complex projects often with competing priorities and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues at both ECS and our Operating Companies.
• Participate in acquisition activities to support IT & Security processes.
• Attend regular conference calls with EMCOR IT & Security.
• Other duties as assigned by the ECS Vice President, Information Technology.
• Ensure compliance with EMCOR IT SOPs.
