Brand Marketing Manager

The Brand Marketing Manager will assist in growing the sales and profitability across the Metagenics product line. This position is involved in a broad range of marketing activities including market research, market analysis, planning, positioning, product development, sales support, product promotions and communications activities across all brands. This position will work closely with category management team on the development of marketing programs and communications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive sales and profitability support marketing activities across categories in an effort to deliver the sales volume, market share, and profit projections for the business
- Create compelling communications work with category managers and internal agency to develop stories from data and insights that can be told across various mediums from web, emails, marketing collateral, etc.
- Support new product launches work with cross functional team to support the creation of new products or improvements of existing products
- Project Management manage specific projects and products, including product development, collateral development, advertising, and product training
- Keep tabs on the competition conduct market research, identify trends, opportunities and help develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition and provide the customer with the best in health care nutrition
- Price and promotions manage monthly product promotions across brands
- Tracking and reporting create reports upon request to measure sales, advertising and promotion performance
- Think innovatively and creatively bring new ideas, fresh perspective and alternative approaches to product marketing
- Cross-functional team collaboration work with PD, R&D, Creative, etc. to offer marketing guidance for product development and product improvements for the products in the Category
- Sales growth of specific products with the Category to meet annual sales objectives
- Budgeting for specific projects and products within the Category to meet annual objectives
- Obtain and maintain an understanding of Metagenics and its products, the competitors and the respective customers and markets so as to thoroughly understand product development and pricing and positioning
- Assure that all marketing and advertising materials for the Category are in compliance with FDA and FTC regulations. This requires good communication and cooperation with the legal department
Basic Requirements :
Experience / Training / Education :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably with emphasis on business, marketing or brandingMinimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably involving health care products or other industry experienceExperience with marketing to healthcare providers or experience in sales is a plusProject managementGood presentation skills (oral and written communication), organization skills, project management and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint (preferred)Experience with graphic design, copy writing, advertising, PR, communication, planning and literature production a plusKnowledge of :

The current range for this U.S. based remote role (candidate location preference is PST time zone or New Jersey) is $112,000 / yr. to $125,000 / yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
