Senior Product Manager, Communications.

About the role :

You'll lead initiatives shaping user frequency and communication mediums on our platform. You'll work on the development of features and tools, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful products that promote seamless co-playing experiences and cultivate relevant connections.

This role is based at HQ (no remote option open).

You will :

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our 1 : 1 and small groups communication products within the Roblox platform.
• Help envision and build a unified, highly scalable, robust and distributed platform to power communication experiences.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to prioritize features and drive product development from concept to launch.
• Apply important measurements to establish strategies for enhancing communication experience for end users.
• Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in communication and gaming to inform product decisions.
• Create a smooth and user-friendly experience for communication features, using your knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Report to the Social Communications Group Lead.

You have :

• 5+ years of Product Management experience with expertise in shipping high-quality consumer apps, with a focus on communications and community products.
• Expertise in navigating communication product development, with a keen understanding of consumer content needs and trends.
• Technical proficiency in working closely with engineers.
• Genuine interest for gaming and a deep understanding of online communities and social interaction dynamics, allowing for informed product decisions and innovations.
• Experience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including engineering, data science, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and policy, to conceptualize, develop, test, and launch impactful communication tools tailored to user needs and preferences.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand.

Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
