Email Marketing Operations Specialist
High-growth startup seeking an email marketing operations specialist to architect our cross-platform email ecosystem and drive account signup optimization. This role reports directly to CEO / CMO with extensive cross-functional collaboration. The challenge : Coordinate email touchpoints across community platform, LMS, points system, mobile app, and ecommerce store while optimizing conversion funnels and preventing email conflicts.
Blend of the strategic with execution (50 / 50)
- The upfront will be more building out the strategy, followed by this person executing on their strategy
- There needs to be data-driven decisions
- Analytical mindset
- LMS, community, web and mobile that will all have lifecycle marketing impacts
- Someone has to take the time to think about the entry point
Key Responsibilities
Email Strategy & Cross-Platform Orchestration (55%)
Architect unified email experiences across multiple SaaS platforms (Bettermode, LMS, mobile app, ecommerce)Create seamless user journeys preventing email conflicts across all touchpointsDevelop sophisticated suppression and frequency coordination strategiesEnsure brand consistency across platforms you don't fully controlDesign abandoned cart, browse abandonment, and post-purchase sequencesConversion & Growth Strategy (40%)
Own account signup optimization and list growth strategyDesign progressive profiling frameworks for enhanced targeting without frictionOptimize signup flows, landing pages, and onboarding sequencesExecute growth experiments and A / B tests across acquisition funnelImplement and optimize conversion tools like PrivyTechnical Infrastructure & Operations (10%)
Evaluate current MailChimp setup and potential platform migrationsManage APIs, webhooks, and data flows across platformsCollaborate with content, product, and engineering teamsStrategic Marketing Growth (5%)
Influence broader marketing strategy based on email insightsTake on additional marketing initiatives as you demonstrate valueRequirements
Must-Have Experience (6-8+ years) :
Cross-platform email coordination across multiple SaaS systemsConversion optimization with proven signup and funnel resultsProgressive profiling strategy and data architecture thinkingMarketing operations with technical systems integrationScale experience managing 25K+ subscriber programsCore Technical Must-Haves :

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
