Registered Dental Assistant
My client recently opened a position for a Registered Dental Assistant. As a dental assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the dentist during patient procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients, including sterilization of equipment and instruments
- Assist the dentist during patient procedures, including taking X-rays and impressions, and handing instruments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Requirements :
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program
- Experience working as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficient in taking digital X-rays and impressions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be reliable and able to work well in a team environment
