Registered Dental Assistant

My client recently opened a position for a Registered Dental Assistant. As a dental assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the dentist during patient procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare treatment rooms for patients, including sterilization of equipment and instruments
• Assist the dentist during patient procedures, including taking X-rays and impressions, and handing instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Requirements :

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program
• Experience working as a dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Proficient in taking digital X-rays and impressions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Must be reliable and able to work well in a team environment
