Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : Ongoing Up to 40.00 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Per Diem Location : Lee Memorial Hospital -2776 Cleveland AveFort Myers FL 33901 Department : Radiology - Spec Procedures Work Type : PRN Shift : Shift 1 Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate : $41.48 - $41.48 / hour Summary Performs diagnostic, angiographic and interventional imaging procedures in accordance with established procedures under guidance of a qualified physician. Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety. Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction. Enters charges (tests and supplies) orders, and completes exams. Provides comprehensive patient and family teaching based upon their individualized needs. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff / student orientation and training. Performs duties as a Radiologic Technologist as required. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree / Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required / Preferred and / or Additional Requirements Graduation from JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiologic Technology program Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required / Preferred and / or 1 YearDiagnostic RadiologyRequired State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required / Preferred and / or Radiologic Technology LicenseRequired Certifications / Registration Requirements Certificates / Registrations Required / Preferred and / or BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)Required Additional Requirements ARRT registered or registry eligible.
