We are seeking a passionate, customer-driven product manager to join our growing platform team. In this role, you will act as the product owner for SaaS Workflows & Forms, two critical experiences of the SailPoint Atlas Platform that drive extensibility within Identity Security Cloud. In this role you will be supporting a dedicated feature team and will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy for SaaS Workflows & Forms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, program management, marketing and other product managers) to build and enhance the SailPoint Atlas Platform.

This position requires a strong product management skill set with experience in agile product development, go-to-market launches, cross-team collaboration, stakeholder management and regular customer interaction. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous challenges, and working in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Candidates must also be highly collaborative and possess excellent communication skills. Additionally, an understanding of enterprise software customer IT environments and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies is highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities :

• Shape and drive the strategy and roadmap for SaaS Workflows & Forms within the SailPoint Atlas Platform, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and customer needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, sales and services to define requirements, prioritize features and deliver platform enhancements
• Work closely with other product teams across the business to improve cohesion of our products
• Deeply understand our customers, partners and 3rd party developers and their needs to identify opportunities for platform improvements
• Continuously gather data driven insights and lead discovery and validation sessions with customers and other critical stakeholders
• Manage the product backlog, define clear user stories and requirements, and ensure the team is delivering high-impact features on schedule
• Define, measure, reflect on and leverage product adoption metrics and other KPIs to continuously inform your product strategy and roadmap
• Drive adoption by supporting go-to-market teams (sales, marketing, etc) with documentation, presentations, training and subject matter expertise
• Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint plannings, retrospectives and stand ups while promoting best practices
• Collaborate with engineering to balance short-term deliverables with long-term priorities
• Continuously stay up to date on industry trends in the identity governance and security market, ensuring our platform drives innovation and competitive differentiation
• Provide product support for sales opportunities, including on-site customer visits when needed
• Act as product spokesperson for SailPoint at trade shows, industry events, and conferences

Requirements :

Preferred But Not Required :

Education :

BA / BS in business or technical field is highly preferred. MBA is a plus.

Travel :

This position requires approximately 10% travel.

Roadmap For Success :

30 Days : The first 30 days is about learning

60 Days : Employee starts to drive more of the meetings and discussions with another Product Manager supervising

90 Days : The Product Manager is driving team meetings, ceremonies, planning, roadmaps, etc... with support of more senior Product Manager

The Product Manager will lead a 'teach back' session to both the other PMs on platform and engineers on the team they are supporting to demonstrate preliminary mastery of their area of ownership

120 Days : Expected that the Product Manager is working autonomously and collaborating with the team

Benefits and compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint's differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD) : $104,000 - $148,500 - $193,100 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.
