Electrical Engineer

Trueline is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Des Moines or Ames, Iowa. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering across the Midwest.

What You'll Do as the Electrical Engineer :

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings
• Perform calculations and analyses using specialized design software
• Produce technical drawings and documentation
• Assist in developing study reports and responding to contractor inquiries
• Conduct field investigations and site assessments
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations, including ASHRAE standards
• Collaborate with team members and interact directly with clients
