Job description

Senior Global Sales Executive (International Freight Forwarding)  Job Summary :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international freight forwarding (air, ocean, and road).  Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects and convert leads into long-term clients.  Conduct client presentations, rate negotiations, and proposal development tailored to customer needs.  Collaborate with operations, pricing, and account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.  Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global trade trends, carrier options, and regulatory changes.  Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence.  Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to management.  Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to document and track all sales activities and customer interactions.  Requirements :   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).  Minimum 7+ years experience in international freight forwarding sales.  Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.  Strong knowledge of global shipping, Incoterms, customs procedures, and carrier services.  Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently and travel internationally as required.  Proficiency in CRM and MS Office Suite; knowledge of TMS and freight pricing tools is a plus.  To apply : send your resume to Director, Suzy Lewison at : slewison@dakotalegacyadvisors.com   EEO Statement :   Dakota Legacy Advisors does not discriminate in employment decisions on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.”  Powered by JazzHR
