Full Charge Bookkeeper Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and oversee all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely payments and invoicing.
- Prepare and file quarterly tax forms such as 941 and 940, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to forecast and manage financial stability.
- Utilize accounting software systems, including ComputerEase (Deltek) and Great Plains (GPAC), for efficient recordkeeping and reporting.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports, including annual budgets and periodic statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing, leveraging ADP systems.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial processes and systems.
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ComputerEase (Deltek) and Great Plains (GPAC).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.Familiarity with preparing and filing quarterly tax forms, including 941 and 940.Ability to develop and manage annual budgets effectively.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication abilities to collaborate with team members and external partners.
