We are recruiting for a forward-thinking and digitally proficient Training Delivery Manager who will lead our technical training team using data and reporting systems to confidently make recommendations to senior managers.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective technical training (Including H&S) and assessment is provided to all Anglian Water employees and alliance partners while liaising with the Training and Development Business Partners to deliver training qualifications and continued competence assessments.

Your role will also require identifying areas for continual improvement in training and assessment delivery, minimising down time and reducing travel whilst maximising attendance and transferring knowledge to and from suppliers to ensure best practice and key company messages are shared.

Finally, as a Training Delivery Manager you will also be responsible for the performance management of Training and Development Coordinators, being an example of excellent value and behaviours within the team environment.

What does it take to be a Training Delivery Manager

• Operating experience ideally in the Water Industry or Utilities
• Experience dealing with external supplies and consultants
• Experience in delivering projects and hitting budgetary targets
• Experience of the Management of Contractors / Framework Management
• Understanding and knowledge of operational training programmes
• Strong negotiating and budget management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to motivate self and others
• Collaborative approach and must champion innovation
• Forward thinking with the desire and potential to be a team leader of the future
• Ability to inspire positive can-do approach
• Ability to drive
