Construction Assistant Project Manager

Avsar Construction is seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Project Manager to lead public works construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role requires a strategic leader with strong budget management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience managing public works projects and be proficient in modern construction management tools. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of public works construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, public agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and quality standards.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors, field personnel, and job site activities.
• Utilize Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and other construction software to track progress and maintain project documentation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and delays, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality and resolve issues proactively.
• Lead project close-out processes, including punch lists, inspections, and final reporting.
