As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This position plays a critical role in safeguarding our systems and data against evolving cybersecurity threats. Job Purpose : The Senior Security Engineer is a key member of the IT Security and Compliance department, responsible for performing cybersecurity risk mitigation activities and ensuring the security of Propio's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Director of Security and Compliance, this role involves leveraging industry-leading technologies to identify and respond to threats, conducting analysis of security-related data, and providing incident response support.

Responsibilities : Utilize industry-leading technologies to identify and respond to evolving cybersecurity threats Analyze logs from various security controls, including firewalls, proxies, intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions, to detect potential threats Investigate security-related data from a wide range of security devices and systems Safely acquire and preserve data integrity for cyber incident analysis, determining the technical and operational impact, root causes, and scope of incidents Provide incident response support as needed, including analysis of security alerts and communication with stakeholders Create and maintain documentation for processes and incidents Collaborate with the Security Team to identify and mitigate security threats and violations, recommending necessary changes Liaise with IT teams during incident response and alert triaging, as well as with external stakeholders during remediation scenarios Communicate with staff at all levels to educate them on cybersecurity best practices Maintain confidentiality and stay informed about the evolving security threat landscape Qualifications : 3+ years of IT security-related work experience, including administration, analysis, or engineering roles in a Microsoft environment Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Security Analyst Relevant IT security certifications preferred, demonstrating mastery of knowledge Knowledge of various security methodologies, processes, and technical solutions such as SIEM, IDS / IPS, Firewall Solutions, and Offensive Security tools Experience with analyzing Splunk logs is preferred but not required Familiarity with HIPAA-specific security requirements is a plus ITIL certification is a plus Basic understanding of network concepts (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc.

Knowledge of common internet protocols and applications Ability to think critically and logically under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment Strong technical experience with a proven history of troubleshooting complex problems across different segments, offices, and teams Propio is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
