Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for a 26-week contract in a high-acuity, advanced imaging environment.
Responsibilities
Work in an inpatient / outpatient interventional radiology department with 4 angiography suites, 1 dedicated CT scanner, and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suitePerform neuro and peripheral interventions using advanced imaging technologiesAdult and pediatric patient population in a Level I Trauma CenterDay shift position, 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM Monday through Friday with one rotating day offPossible weekend coverage requiredPrimary call required once per week and one primary call weekend per month, with a 30-minute call back timeMust be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotationEpic EMR experience requiredWork within a comprehensive IR team providing minimally invasive procedures for vascular, neurological, and oncologic conditionsLevel I Trauma Center environment with both inpatient and outpatient case mixMust submit all requested time off at the time of applicationCall off policy allows up to one canceled shift per two weeksMust provide two professional references for considerationNo local candidates acceptedRequirements
Current ARRT (R) certification; CV or VI credentials required, with VI preferredBLS certification (AHA) requiredExperience in neuro and peripheral interventional procedures requiredAny active state radiologic technologist license accepted; Virginia state license preferred, and emergency authorization available for pending licensureEpic EMR proficiency requiredLicense required if applicableBenefits
