Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for a 26-week contract in a high-acuity, advanced imaging environment.

Responsibilities

Work in an inpatient / outpatient interventional radiology department with 4 angiography suites, 1 dedicated CT scanner, and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite

Perform neuro and peripheral interventions using advanced imaging technologies

Adult and pediatric patient population in a Level I Trauma Center

Day shift position, 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM Monday through Friday with one rotating day off

Possible weekend coverage required

Primary call required once per week and one primary call weekend per month, with a 30-minute call back time

Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation

Epic EMR experience required

Work within a comprehensive IR team providing minimally invasive procedures for vascular, neurological, and oncologic conditions

Level I Trauma Center environment with both inpatient and outpatient case mix

Must submit all requested time off at the time of application

Call off policy allows up to one canceled shift per two weeks

Must provide two professional references for consideration

No local candidates accepted

Requirements

Current ARRT (R) certification; CV or VI credentials required, with VI preferred

BLS certification (AHA) required

Experience in neuro and peripheral interventional procedures required

Any active state radiologic technologist license accepted; Virginia state license preferred, and emergency authorization available for pending licensure

Epic EMR proficiency required

License required if applicable
