Job Responsibilities :

• Handle incoming requests for client invoices, write-offs, discounts, billing adjustments, electronic billing requests, report requests, billing rate information and many other billing related questions
• Manage all billing activities for assigned electronic billing clients, assigned attorneys, and other complex clients and matters as assigned
• Configure and maintain electronic billing profiles with any assigned e-billing vendors including coordination of new matters, timekeeper and rate approvals, required task and activity code information, client billing guidelines, prepare and submit monthly accruals to vendor sites, following up on accounts receivable and reduced / rejected invoices
• Monitor accounts receivable and unbilled time and costs to ensure timely billing and payment of client invoices
• Analyze billing materials for compliance with client guidelines, fee agreements, discounts, rate agreements, and firm policies
• Perform a variety of tasks related to the timely and accurate posting of payments, adjustments, and transactions
• Download images from appropriate bank accounts
• Daily reconciliation of cash
• Research missing payments and unapplied funds
• Reconcile payments and refunds for month end close
• Maintain the confidentiality of all financial matters exposed to during the course of performing job duties
• Some overtime may be required during month end and year end closes
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements :

• High school diploma / GED
• 2+ years of billing experience
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Cash Receipts
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• Proficient in MS Office
• Great communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
