The Tulane Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a full-time faculty member to join their team at a large university-affiliated medical center in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment at the Professor level at Tulane University School of Medicine, commensurate with their previous academic achievements and experience.
The position will involve providing outstanding patient care and contributing to the medical education of students, residents, and fellows.
Key responsibilities will include supporting the liver management program and providing pre-and post-liver transplant care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and hepatology, with a proven track record in both clinical care and academic endeavors.
They should be committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care and fostering the professional development of the next generation of healthcare providers.
Qualifications :
- Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care;
- Ability to obtain a Louisiana medical license;
- American Board of Internal Medicine certification;
- Board Eligible and / or Certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
