Talent Responsibilities
Gathers, maintains, formats, complies, and manipulates technical data and procedures engineering and design documentation Take oral and written instructions, use existing documents and company standards to produce designs consistent with the military and customer requirements Completes tasks expeditiously while maintaining procedures and level of quality within the work Draws detailed part drawings and specifications from CAD assembly layouts and / or mark-up drawings for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using CAD equipment Layout and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict geometry of components Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems Checks dimensions of material to be used and assigns numbers to the material Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems Position instructions and comments onto drawings Provides documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used Observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources Develops, designs, or creates new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person All other relevant duties as assigned
Talent Profile
Education :
Associates degree preferred, 4 year engineering highly preferred
Experience :
0-3 years of related experience as a draftsperson
0-2 years CAD experience (CATIA / Solidworks / AutoCAD preferred)
Skills / Knowledge :
Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar
Excellent communication skills
Capable of handling multiple tasks in parallel
Integrity-Job requires being honest and ethical
Initiative-Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
Visualization-The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the pay range for this role in New Jersey is $26.79 - $32.81 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
