What Will You Do? As a Coding Quality Review (CQR) Specialist, you'll work remotely, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and policies.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Leading and performing quality reviews for inpatient and outpatient coding.
- Assisting in ensuring coding staff adherence to coding guidelines and policies.
- Applying expert knowledge of medical coding practices.
- Participating in special reviews or projects.
- Maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.
What Will You Need?
- Undergraduate degree in HIM / HIT preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' acute care inpatient coding experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' coding auditing / monitoring experience strongly preferred.
- RHIA, RHIT certification mandatory.
- Must have inpatient acute care experience.
