Job description10+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or foreman with a general contractor. Proven commercial construction experience. Experience in grocery and retail construction, including refrigeration, cooling / insulation, and HVAC plumbing. Strong communication skills for interacting with store personnel and subcontractors. OSHA 30 certification. Experience with renovation and retrofitting projects. Willingness to travel for potential extended project opportunities. The standard work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM. There may be temporary off-shift work during hours when the store is closed, which will include a pay increase. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. This is a contract position based out of Boca Raton, FL. The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Construction Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee an 8-week grocery project in Boca Raton. The project is a Fresh Market interior retrofit, which involves an open store remodel. This role requires managing subcontractors onsite effectively.
Responsibilities :
- Manage subcontractors onsite for an open store remodel.
- Coordinate with store personnel to ensure smooth project operations.
- Oversee the interior retrofit of a Fresh Market.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and manage safety protocols.
