Responsibilities

• Lead the hydropower engineering practice in the SoCal area and guide client and business development activities for the hydropower segment.
• Lead or support proposals and pursuits, participate as a project manager or technical lead on projects, and help grow the local SoCal team.
• Collaborate with SoCal Resources and Water teams, as well as the National Hydropower Practice and Power Sector teams, to develop and execute a hydropower growth plan.
• Engage in engineering business development activities including proposal development as champion or reviewer; actively participate in the hydropower industry through professional groups.
• Oversee and coordinate hydropower staff within SoCal's Resources and Water teams and with the National Hydropower Practice; develop growth strategies and multi-year hiring plans aligned with opportunities.
• Provide project oversight and client engagement through periodic reviews and as Principal-In-Charge on select projects; serve as project manager on strategic, complex projects.
